General information:

The 900 Commemorative Edition Turbo Convertible was introduced to the US market in September 1993 (MY1994). This limited edition model, available only as a convertible with a manual transmission, featured the B202R engine with a "red box" APC, producing 185 horsepower. This made it one of the most powerful variants of the 900 series, thanks to performance enhancements such as a 2.8-bar fuel pressure regulator and a special distributor with improved vacuum advance.

The exterior was finished in "Nova" black metallic, a unique color exclusive to this edition. Inside, the car boasted a tan leather interior, upgraded with charcoal grey piping for a refined two-tone look. All units came with a tan canvas top, adding to the elegant design. The car was also equipped with a premium audio system, featuring a high-end Clarion radio and CD player (2x DIN), ensuring an enjoyable driving experience.

Only 500 units were produced for the U.S. market, with VINs ending in 008000-008500. These cars were equipped with premium features such as fog lights, a burled walnut instrument panel facia, a leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel, a leather gear knob and boot, and two-tone Aero92 wheels. The convertible offered full electric control for the front seats, windows, mirrors, and an electric antenna, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious driving experience.

This SAAB has been dealership maintained throughout it¹s life and it shows. What makes this car has a black Convertible top was to special order one from the factory. The interior leather is in amazing condition. The exterior paint still glosses up nicely. The Power Convertible top is in near mint condition. The engine fires right up and idles smooth, it has plenty of power and the turbo works great and kicks in when needed. The A/C is Ice cold. Has CD player, power seats, keyless entry, power locks, original SAAB tool kit, Cruise control, original owners manual and service booklet.
